George
George has over 20 years experience as an Advanced Chartered Physiotherapist and as an AACP acupuncturist. In addition George has undertaken post graduate Masters level training and is a member of the manipulative association of physiotherapists (MACP) This means he is trained to the highest level in the treatment of lower back/neck problems, sciatica, shoulder injuries, trapped nerves, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, ankle problems and sports injuries.
His treatment skills range from treating the young and young at heart. He has treated Olympic athletes, super league rugby players and has worked with Bolton Wanderers football club for 5 years when they were Premier League & Europa League contenders.
George likes to compete in 5k & 10k assault courses with his family and has, in the last few years, starting competing in UK triathlon events. His other interests include golf, fishing, walking , travelling, family time & relaxing with friends.
Catherine
Catherine is an experienced Registered Osteopath and Qualified Medical Herbalist.
Her career in natural health began at Middlesex University, where she graduated as a Medical Herbalist in 2000. She is a long-standing member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists (NIMH), the UK’s leading professional body for herbal practitioners. In 2008, she went on to qualify as an Osteopath at the European School of Osteopathy.
Catherine is a registered Osteopath and member of the General Osteopathic council. She is passionate about holistic care and has continually expanded her expertise. With an in-depth understanding of the musculoskeletal system and biomechanics, she is skilled in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of conditions. Her treatments combine hands-on osteopathy with acupuncture and tailored rehabilitation exercises, supporting recovery while helping patients achieve lasting health and wellbeing.
She has a particular interest in women’s health across all stages of life and has completed specialised training, including the Mummy MOT®, a comprehensive postnatal service, as well as UK Hypopressives, a breathing-based approach that supports pelvic floor and core function.
Outside of her clinical practice, Catherine has a lifelong passion for horses. As a rider, competitor, and horse owner, she has developed strong horsemanship skills and a deep understanding of horse and rider biomechanics. This enables her to work effectively with equestrians across disciplines including dressage, showjumping, and eventing.
Catherine is known for her kind and compassionate manner, creating a supportive environment where patients feel heard and understood. With her patient-centred ethos, she places health and wellbeing at the heart of every treatment. By combining her extensive knowledge of osteopathy, acupuncture and rehabilitation, she not only supports recovery but also helps patients improve their overall quality of life.
